How to Use the Odds Converter

Enter a value in any of the three odds formats and the other two will update automatically. The implied probability tells you the likelihood of the outcome as suggested by the odds — useful for identifying value bets when your own assessment differs.

Decimal Odds (European)

The most straightforward format. Your total return equals your stake multiplied by the decimal odds. For example, a £10 bet at 2.50 returns £25.00 (£15.00 profit). Decimal odds always include the stake in the return.

Fractional Odds (UK)

Traditional UK format showing profit relative to stake. Odds of 3/2 mean you win £3 for every £2 staked. To convert to decimal, divide the fraction and add 1 (3÷2 + 1 = 2.50).

American Odds (Moneyline)

Positive values (+150) show profit on a $100 stake. Negative values (-200) show how much you need to stake to win $100. Positive odds indicate an underdog, negative odds indicate a favourite.

Implied Probability

This is the probability of the outcome implied by the odds, calculated as 1 ÷ decimal odds × 100. For decimal odds of 2.00, the implied probability is 50%. Remember that bookmaker odds include a margin, so the sum of implied probabilities across all outcomes will exceed 100%.
