Odds can be decimal (2.50) or fractional (3/2). A void selection is treated at odds of 1.00, so the line still runs on the remaining legs — the standard bookmaker rule for a non-runner.

How the bet calculator works
Every bet type on this page is a set of lines. A single is one line. A Trixie is four: three doubles and a treble. The calculator builds every line the bet contains, multiplies the odds of the selections on that line, and pays out only when all of them are still standing.
Stake works the same way. The figure you enter is the stake per line, which is how bookmakers price full cover bets: a £2 Lucky 15 costs £30, not £2. Ticking each-way doubles the number of bets, because every line is placed twice — once on the win, once on the place.
A worked example: £2 Trixie
Three selections at 2.00, 3.00 and 1.50, all winners, staked £2 per line. The three doubles return £12.00, £6.00 and £9.00. The treble returns £18.00. Total returns are £45.00 against a £8.00 total stake, so the profit is £37.00. Change the third selection to lost and only one double survives: £12.00 back from £8.00 staked.
Void selections and non-runners
When a selection is void — a non-runner in a race, a postponed match under most bookmaker rules — the line is not lost. The void leg is settled at odds of 1.00 and the bet runs on the remaining legs, so a treble becomes a double. Set the selection to Void and the calculator does exactly that.
Each-way terms
An each-way bet is two bets. The place part is settled at a fraction of the win odds, usually 1/4 or 1/5, and pays when your selection finishes inside the paying places. The number of places is set by the bookmaker for that specific event, so mark a selection as Placed only when it finished in the frame without winning, and as Won when it won — a winner collects on both parts.

Frequently asked questions
How do you calculate returns on a bet?
For a single, returns are stake multiplied by the decimal odds, and profit is that figure minus the stake. A £10 bet at 2.50 returns £25.00 for a profit of £15.00. For a multiple, multiply the odds of every selection together first, then multiply by the stake: three winners at 2.00, 3.00 and 1.50 give combined odds of 9.00, so £10 returns £90.00.
How much does a £1 Lucky 15 cost?
£15. A Lucky 15 is fifteen separate bets from four selections — 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and a four-fold — and the stake you choose applies to each one. Each-way doubles it to £30. The same logic applies to a Patent (7 bets), a Yankee (11), a Canadian (26), a Heinz (57), a Super Heinz (120) and a Goliath (247).
What happens to an accumulator if one selection is a non-runner?
Under standard bookmaker rules the void selection is settled at odds of 1.00 and the rest of the bet stands, so a four-fold becomes a treble. Your stake is not returned and the bet is not lost. Set that selection to Void in the calculator to see the adjusted return.
Does this calculator include Lucky 15 bonuses?
No. Consolation payments for one winner from four and the bonus applied when all four win vary widely between bookmakers, and some apply them only to the win part or cap them. The figures here are the raw settlement of every line, which is the part that is the same everywhere. Check your bookmaker's terms for any bonus on top.
